About Me
-
I was born and raised in New York City and now based in Florida since 2019.
-
I’m trained in Bharatanatyam and Kathak. I restarted my Kuchipudi training in Jan 2022.
-
I’m a grad student in Anthropology at Harvard University’s Extension School.
-
I have a B.A. in Anthropology, an A.A.S. in Visual Presentation & Exhibition Design, and I’m a CUNY Dance Major alumni. In May 2023, I completed a certificate in Performing Arts Industry Essentials from NYU | Tisch x Backstage.

The majority of my artistic training has been in NYC and I’ve also taken an intensive course in India. For 11 years, I worked professionally with two award-winning Indian American dance companies.

I taught various styles of Indian classical, folk, & cinematic dance in NYC from 2007-2019 and virtually since 2020.

I work for a cultural nonprofit, utilizing my skills and education in anthropology, dance, & design.

I’m excited to continue sharing Indian culture in Tampa Bay!
